01 DIY and tool brands
For brands supplying UK home, garden and DIY retailers.
Product imagery for DIY and tool brands.
Power tools, hand tools, decorating, fixings and workshop. Your buyer at B&Q, Wickes, Screwfix or Toolstation has a specification, a deadline and no patience for a reshoot. We build the listing, the in-use shot and the campaign hero from one photograph of the product, checked before it leaves the building.

Built from one photograph. Checked against the specification.
Studio builds for this sector. Every frame below was made from a single reference photograph, the scene described in words, the product never redrawn.

How it works for this sector
The tool in the hand, doing the job.
The tool in the hand, doing the job+
DIY imagery sells when the product is shown in use: the drill driving into oak, the plane on the bench with a curl of shaving, the roller mid-wall. We build those scenes in words around your exact tool, with the real branding fed in as a reference, never invented.
Listings to the specification, first time+
Tool listings are rejected for background value, fill of frame, margin and file naming more than for the photograph itself. We hold the retailer specification as data and check every frame against it, so what you upload passes.
Campaign and film from the same build+
Hero visuals for trade press and point of sale, social cuts and short demonstration films, all from the same photograph and the same build, delivered as one drop you own outright.
The retailer specifications we build to are explained in Retailer image specifications. The method is on The technology.
FAQ
Asked before the first frame.
Can you use our real branding?+
Yes. Logos, liveries and packaging are fed in as reference images, never described or redrawn, so the brand on the tool is yours exactly.
Do you work to Screwfix or B&Q specifications?+
We work to whichever retailer specification you send us. If the specification changes, the range is rebuilt to the new one from the same master.
What formats do we get?+
Listing cut outs, lifestyle, campaign hero, 1:1, 16:9 and 9:16 cuts and print, from one master.
How do we start?+
Send one tool, one photograph and the retailer it is going to. One frame comes back for you to judge.
Begin with one frame
Send one product. We return one frame, made properly.
No pitch deck, no portfolio of somebody else's work. You judge the actual output on your own product, then decide.
What happens next
- A named person reads it, usually the same working day.
- We write the specification back to you before anything is built.
- One frame comes back for you to judge on your own product.
